Bill Sargent,
“Sunday’s Walking Tour of Plum Island North….some local folks, as well as visitors from New Mexico joined us this week! With erosion season coming, our guests became citizen scientists & helped to measure the distance from the pergola at the end of the main boardwalk, to the ridge of sand nearest the water’s edge (87 feet)…we will continue to measure as the season continues….come join us!”

We enjoyed the tour and learned some fascinating facts about the horseshoe crab.
Thank you, Jim! My wife and I kayaked on the Great Salt March at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. We were both excited to see both horseshoe crabs and abandoned shells. Please read post Touring the Great Salt Marsh via Kayak
