Plum Island Public Parking Lot Open Monday, May 25, 2020
“The public parking lot at Plum Island will open on Monday, May 25, 2020. Beaches are open to residents and the public. 
There will be no parking allowed on any public streets on Plum Island, and this will be strictly enforced with ticketing and towing, Beach visitors are required to maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet or more at all times and visitors should maintain at least 12 ft minimum distance between toweling/beach blanket areas. Organized ball game activities are not allowed including, but not limited to, volleyball, Kan Jam, spike ball, football, soccer, Kadima, and bocce. Beach visitors shall abide by social distancing standards for the bathrooms. Thank you for your cooperation.”
Residents of Newburyport can obtain free discount tickets for parking in the Newburyport Plum Island Parking Lot at the Harbor Master Office beginning Thursday, May 28th at 9:00 AM.
