Proposed Site

The old Parker River National Wildlife Refuge Headquarters building sits adjacent to the Plum Island Lighthouse.

The current plan for the old headquarters property is to turn it over to the City of Newburyport when the old building is torn down, and environmental contaminants such as asbestos are safely removed.  The property can then be swapped for a suitable property in Newbury or Newburyport.
