Thanks to our friends at Greenbelt – Essex County’s Land Trust for helping install the newest osprey platform at the refuge. For almost two decades, Greenbelt’s osprey conservation program has worked to provide safe, attractive nesting opportunities for these unique birds that mimic their natural nesting habits. This newest addition to the Great Marsh will continue to be monitored by the Greenbelt team, and you can visit their website to see other active nesting sites and even a live webcam!
